When your baby just can’t seem to settle…

Those early newborn weeks can feel incredibly overwhelming sometimes. One minute you think they’re hungry, the next they’re tired, overstimulated, uncomfortable… or maybe they just need you

I want every parent reading this to know that you are not failing if your baby is unsettled. Newborns are learning how to be in the world, and you are learning too.

Sometimes the biggest thing our babies need is closeness, calm, movement, warmth, regulation, and connection

A gentle cuddle.
Skin-to-skin.
A slow walk outside.
A warm bath.
A deep breath for yourself.

You are already enough for your baby.

As a midwife and IBCLC, one of the things I’m most passionate about is supporting families through these emotional early weeks — helping parents feel reassured, informed, and confident in their instincts.

As a midwife and IBCLC, one of the hardest things for me to hear is a mum struggling through the night feeling alone, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn

Babies don’t only feed during business hours, and feeding challenges certainly don’t wait until morning. Some of the most emotional moments can happen at 9pm, painful feeds, a baby who won’t settle, worries about milk supply, or simply needing reassurance that you’re doing ok.

That’s exactly why I created my after-hours lactation support service.

I wanted families to have access to gentle, experienced support during those moments that can feel the heaviest. Support that is calm, personalised, evidence-based, and available from the comfort of your own home.

From 6pm–11pm each night, I offer Telehealth breastfeeding and lactation consultations to support you with:
✨ Painful feeding & latch concerns
✨ Low milk supply worries
✨ Pumping & expressing guidance
✨ Bottle refusal or unsettled feeding
✨ Newborn behaviour & reassurance
✨ Individualised feeding plans

These consults are fully bulk billed for babies 7 weeks and under

You do not need to “push through” or figure it all out alone. Sometimes a little support and reassurance can completely change your feeding journey.
